Charity Shop

Re:new Community Charity shop on Cavendish Street first opened its doors on Valentine’s Day, 2018. Our aim was, and still is, to be able to help our community in which ever way we can. This can be through giving out small grants to local groups or gifting some clothes to a homeless person. The community has really come on board with this and the items that we get from both the general public and local businesses are truly amazing!

We have a small core group of volunteers, from people who like to work in the shop to drivers who collect donations and deliver small items of furniture. But we need more, so could you maybe spare a few hours a week? If you feel like you can help, then please pop into the shop or phone Tim, the shop manager. Likewise, if you need help to bring a donation to the shop, give Tim a call.

We sell all sorts of items from books to bric-a-brac and dresses to handbags, and so much more. We are also connected to a recycling firm that takes away any items that are not suitable for sale or that haven’t sold, so very little is wasted or goes to landfill.

Why not come in and see if you can find a bargain!
